A glassy alpine lake with a stunning reflection as the clearing storm clouds dissapate as the sun warms the mountain just after sunrise. Taken high in the apline this wildflower basin is alive with color, with the entire mountainsides covered in the colors of Colorado. The soft glow through the clouds really illuminated this basin saturating the senses with the magic of nature. Panoramic image taken during peak wildflower season at 12,500’ looking up at the13,767’ US Grant peak high in the San Juan Mountains.
