The process
Kane takes great pride in being able to produce his large scale works from start to finish to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship and consistency. These are truly great works of art where attention to detail is seen in the finished product.
THE
CAMERAS
The images you see here have been created with a variety of professional film and digital formats over the years. Many of my photographs are taken using a technical medium format camera. I love the slow process of this technique and feel that the end result is of the upmost quality. I currently use Phase One's XT 150 megapixel camera. For my ski photography, I currently use Sony’s A7R4 camera for its portability and weather resistant body/lenses.
THE
PRINTER & MEDIA
All images are printed using Epson’s P20000 64” fine art printer and a variety of archival fine art papers and canvas.
Fade Resistance & Print Longevity: UltraChrome PRO, the next-generation pigment ink technology, is independently rated by Wilhelm Research for up to 200 years for color prints and up to 400 years for black-and-white prints. Long regarded as the standard by which all other professional-level archival pigment ink technologies are judged, this latest generation of color pigment technology has achieved a breakthrough in print permanence, resulting in prints of exceptional quality capable of defining a legacy.
The

the
limited Editions
A limited edition print is an edition that has a fixed number of prints from the beginning of the print run, and the number of prints never changes. Limited edition prints are marked with two numbers: the unique number of the print and the size of the entire print run. For example, the first print in an edition of 100 would be marked as 1/100 and the last work in this edition would be marked 100/100.The number of prints in a limited edition is directly related to the value of that work. The lower the number of editions, the more collectible the work is and thus it has a higher monetary value.
THE
